I've been in a painting groove...metaphorically speaking, as if I were sitting inside the leather cup of an overstretched, creative slingshot and it launched.
I've got one more Nautilus to finish in the series of three. The broad theme in the series is: Glory, War, and Family...family being the one I'm working on now.
I am taking the form of the Nautilus shell and merging three very real consequences of animal/human exisitence: the inherent struggle to survive and procreate(Family); the necessary evil of conquer or be conquered (War); and, lastly, the still, quiet peace we find as we rest in awe of our own magnificent creation (Glory). Enjoy!
